These are professionally bred and raised Dubia roaches. Dubia roach nymphs are popular feeder insects for reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, birds, fish, and other insectivores. They are also used as live bait.
Whether you're looking for small, medium, large, or extra-large Dubia roaches, we're sure to have a size that meets your needs.
We raise our Dubia roaches whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, and grains. We
do not
feed them commercial dog or cat food, or anything like that. We pride ourselves on breeding super healthy roaches that make nutritious feeders and breeders. As feeders, they are more nutritious than other insects like crickets or mealworms. As breeders, they only need the right foods and living conditions to thrive. Our Dubia roaches are among the heartiest stock
available.
Dubia roaches are well known for their high nutrition value and gut-loadability. They can
eat a lot, and they like healthy foods. This means you can fill them up with a relatively large amount of nutritious food before feeding them off, thus transferring that extra nutrition to your animals.
Sizing is as follows:
Size 1:
1/4 inch and under
Size 2:
1/4 to 1/2 inch
Size 3:
1/2 to 3/4 inch
Size 4:
3/4 to 1 inch
Size 5:
1 to 1.5 inches

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Tropical roaches like Dubia are fragile! Please read the following to maximize the chance of live arrival in hot or cold weather.
We overstock orders around 10%, but this will not protect against loss in extreme weather.
How to maximize the chance of live arrival:
(
1) if your temperature is between 40
°F and 80°F
: No need to do anything special.
(
2) your temp is below 40°F or above 80°F
: We strongly recommend a post office hold for pickup and a heat or cold pack. You can expect DOAs if you don't take measures to assure live arrival in these conditions.
These things are important. Please take these steps to ensure your roaches survive shipping.
A post office hold is free and means instead of delivering the package to your home, it is delivered to your local post office where you can pick it up.
Please be careful when it is very hot or cold (very = above 80°F or below 40°F). Buying Dubia and other tropical roaches involves risk, but these can be mitigated. We do everything possible on our end, but there are things you may need to do on your end.
These include being aware of your weather forecast and choosing the right shipping options, heat or cooling packs, being home for delivery, collecting the package when it arrives, etc.
When it's hot
(particularly above 80
°F
): A post office hold is best. Cooling packs are second. The main cause of loss
by far
is (a) being out for delivery all day in the heat and (b) being left in a hot location (mail box, porch). If you avoid these two things, you avoid 90% of the risk.
When it's cold
(particularly below freezing): A post office hold with heat pack is best, but it depends on how cold it is. When it's cold there are a few more ways for loss to occur. When it's very cold (near or below freezing), losses are usually caused by (a) sitting in a mailbox, uncollected, with no heat pack, (b) sitting in a post office overnight, uncollected, with no heat pack, and (c) being out for delivery all day with no heat pack. If it's 40
°F
, for example, you might get away with all of these things. If it's 20
°F
, you probably wouldn't get away with any of them.
LIVE ARRIVAL ISSUES
Please send us a message if there is a problem with your order and we'll see what we can do to fix it! For live arrival issues, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery and include photos of all the roaches to confirm their condition. You can attach photos to ebay messages. If you do this, we will issue a refund for the roaches that didn't make it, or we may discuss other options.

We are near a USPS hub, so most packages arrive in 2-3 days. The odd package will be faster or slower, depending on your location.
