This Netherlands 2017 1 oz. Silver Lion Dollar Proof is ideal for collectors with an interest in American and/or monetary history. It is based on the designs of the 1617 Dutch daalder, which many consider to be the first American silver dollar. Struck from .9999 fine silver at the Royal Dutch Mint, this coin is part of a mintage that has been limited to 5,000 pieces. Its relief commemorates the 400th anniversary of the particular issue.
Stunning Lion design
Both faces of this coin are based on the designs that were issued in Utrecht in 1617. On the obverse, an artistically rendered lion stands on its hind legs in left-side profile. It extends its from paws menacingly and swings its tail high. Rim inscriptions read, "NON MOVETVR 2017CONFIDENS DNO."
On the reverse is an armored night, whose legs are obscured by a shield. On the shield is another lion. Inscriptions along the rim read, "FOE BELG TRA MO ARG PRO CON."

Purchases of Bullion Items may not be returned or cancelled for any reason, at any time, but in the event of a manufacturer's defect; it may be exchanged for the same item, within the Company's sole discretion, if otherwise available. In addition to Bullion Items, there are other items from time to time which may not be returned or cancelled for any reason. If the product has been altered, is not in its original coin capsule, or is otherwise in an unsaleable condition, the product will not be accepted for return or exchange. All documents and bonus items included with the product must also be returned. If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, in the Company's sole discretion. All returns with a purchase price over $500 must include a Return Authorization Number. This number can be obtained from our Customer Service Department by calling toll-free at 1-800-362-9004 during Customer Service hours.
Refunds of non-bullion items are for the cost of product only; shipping and handling charges are not refundable, unless otherwise stated by Company.
