Vintage Needlepoint “Sleeping Beauty” turquoise Zuni Cuff Bracelet . This is an authentic Zuni needlepoint “Sleeping Beauty” turquoise cuff bracelet weighing 34.5 grams.
This previously owned estate piece is signed: sterling R J.The “Sleeping Beauty” turquoise mine is played out of gem quality turquoise as are many of the other mines. Native Americans revered turquoise as “the stone of life”. It represents power, status, luxury and protection.
There are 58 needlepoint turquoise. Inside of bracelet measures 6”, opening is 1 1/2” but could be stretched open or closed a little more. The center medallion measures 2” across.
This is definitely a show stopper piece of jewelry which is an heirloom worthy of passing down in the family. It is a beautiful vintage estate piece and a rare find for 5 and I would get a lot more for it at shows.
