Unique Vintage Japanese Blue & White Chocolate / Espresso / Demitasse Set w/Windmills - pot w/ lid and 5 cups & saucers
This is a lovely cobalt blue vintage Japanese chocolate /coffee/ espresso/ tea set with a pot and lid and 5 cups & saucers.
The unique design goes all the way around the pot and pieces.
The pot measures approximately 5 1/2" at the base and is 9 1/4" high to the top of the lid.
From the spout to the handle, it measures approximately 6".
The saucers are approximately 4.25" in diameter.
The cups measure approximately 2 .25"tall and 2 1/4" wide.
The top of the pot and the cups have a scalloped edge.
This set has a windmill pattern, which is unusual and the scalloped edges of the pot and cups add charm.
The set would be a lovely gift for that special someone.
Three of the saucers have a chip which has been touched up (see the last three pictures).
I don't see any other chips.
