Vintage Tube Sound Amplifier from the 60 or 70’s. Measures approximately 23” wide X 12 ¾ deep at bottom and about 9” at top X 27 ½” High. This is a rare amp appears to have very little information on its history however I did find some information on the net that referenced it to Mineola Long Island where the company Manufactured these by a former Ampeg employee who later went on to run Marlboro amps, made by Musical Instrument corporation of America.. I can’t confirm this information but it is available from a search on line and a post of nine years ago. It appears the amps were made fairly well even the cabinet is made of heavy plywood I am not a guitar player so am not very familiar on the workings of this amp however I did plug it in and did find these issues.
The amp does come on and play sound but has issues such as a hum, reverb over echo’s at times , scratchy pots, polarity switch inoperative, not sure if second channel
is operative. It may not be limited to these issues listed so I am selling it as is with all issues listed or not and the fact that it has to be repaired. The condition of the cabinet is fairly good considering it’s age and use. It does have scrapes , mars etc. including a cut in the grill cloth.
