    Description

    Striking sterling silver pierced (French wire) earrings by renowned Navajo artist Tommy Singer (1940-2014). They are approximately 2 1/2" x 3/4" and weigh approximately 8.5 grams.  They have a feather design with stamping and a lovely piece of clear blue turquoise at their tops. They are stamped sterling and signed by the artist.
    We purchased these earrings new for gallery inventory in the 1993 and they have been in our safe, unworn since that time. Please examine carefully and let us know if you have any questions or need further information/photos.
    Tommy Singer is a recognized silversmith and artist whose work. He is credited for developing the "chip inlay" technique of jewelry making in the 1970's, a technique that is still popular today. He started learning his art on the Navajo reservation at the age of 7 and became and internationally acclaimed artist.
