    Description

    Studio Art Glass iridescent PULLED FEATHER Vase - This has been attributed to Robert Held, the renowned and much admired art glass artisan. Not being able to find a signature on this vase anywhere I contacted Mr. Held myself, showing him these pictures. While he was fairly certain that he made this vase in the 1980's, he couldn't be absolute without seeing it in person. Since he lives in BC and I in the US, this isn't likely to happen, so I can only take his word for it. It is a stunning vase  in iridescent purple and blue with a distinctive pontil on the bottom. While there are no chips or cracks in it, it does have a bit of smudging on it done while being made in the process, but is in good overall vintage condition.
    The measurements are as follows:
    7" high
    4 12 " across the body and top
    2 1/2" across the base
