    Description

Southwestern Native American Indian multi-stone inlay Sterling silver pendant, unmarked but either Zuni or Navajo. This colorful two-piece pendant showcases 2 geometrical mosaics inlaid with turquoise, spiny oyster, onyx/jet, and mother of pearl, in stone-on-stone fashion. The intricate mosaics are set in smooth bezels, with the bottom piece framed by twisted wire, and the top one embellished with silver raindrops on both sides of the bale. The bale is flat, and measures about 1/2" in height, 3/16" in width, and 3/16" in depth on top to 1/8" on the bottom; so it can most likely accommodate chains up to 1/8" in diameter. The top mosaic is 11/16" tall by 13/16" wide, and the bottom one is almost 1 5/8" tall by 5/8" wide without the border. This pendant is 3 1/2" tall, including the bale, by almost 7/8" wide at its widest. The weight is just shy of 21 grams. Very nice inlay work and design.
