    Description

This very special vintage (unworn) sterling silver buckle was made by Greg Naseyoma, one of the masters of Hopi overlay style. The workmanship on the buckle is exquisite; the overlay extensive and meticulously done. The buckle measures 2.5" x 1.5" and weighs 36.5 grams. It will fit a 1" belt. The buckle depicts a Sunface, clouds, representation of a mesa and two Hopi maidens, tending to and harvesting crops. There is a small 14K gold bird on the horizon.
This is a collector's item as Greg's work has become increasingly hard to find. He is widely recognized as one of the most important Hopi silversmiths of our time.
