    Description

RARE Antique Early Meiji Period Satsuma Set of 3 Japanese Bowls Hand Painted EC.  These came from an estate sale from someone that travelled overseas and brought back many beautiful things.  Gorgeous landscape including Mt Fuji, watermill, cherry blossoms, etc.  On the outside is bamboo.  There is a lot of gold gilded decoration highlighting the watercolor used on the yellow earthenware.  I looked at the work under my loop and I must say it is beautiful.
    This b
eautiful set of bowls was found in excellent condition considering their age with no chips or cracks, there is some minor discoloration, here and there, to the earthenware and to be
    excepted
    from time.
Please see photos for complete details.  The smallest measures 3 1/2" in diameter and 1 3/4" high, medium 5" diameter, 2" high, large 7" diameter 2 3/4" high.  Don't miss your chance to own this exceptional set!
