    Description

Created in his signature style, this gorgeous pendant by Navajo silversmith Bennie Ration comprises a beautiful, bright blue, oval turquoise stone and sterling silver in the form of a Sunface. The sun is said to be a symbol of abundance, continuity, stability, positive energy, hope, happiness, and peace. The body of this Sunface is set with the single turquoise stone containing portions of light brown matrix in a simple sterling silver bezel which is bordered at the base by a sterling silver rope pattern, followed by a sterling silver band stamped with fine lines and scallop designs and appliqued with two rows of sterling silver dots.  Protruding from the top of the body is a large sterling silver sunface, featuring deeply grooved rectangular eyes and a round, appliqued mouth  It is finished with a circle of detailed sterling silver feathers surrounding the head. Hook bail is located at the back of the head.  2 1/8" long including bail x 1" wide.
