Description
Meiji period Dai Nippon Kozan Zo 1000 crane / bird bowl that is artist signed. This STUNNING work of art by Kozan has created this 1000 multi colored crane / bird bowl (meaning good luck). The inside of the bowl has the cranes starting in the bottom center and then spiraling outward towards the top . The outside of the bowl is totally covered with well detailed flowers and is also covered with gold guild . I have seen several examples of the 1000 flower and 1000 butterfly bowls that have sold through auction houses around the world and the more common butterfly bowls sell in the range of 00- 00 us Dollars .These are still very scarce I have not seen an example of one of these 1000 crane /bird bowls or the 1000 dragon bowls sell via auction in the last 4 years . There is a 1000 butterfly bowl up for sale in a gallery in London and is being offered for 5000 pounds . I will be shipping this well wrapped in several boxes to make sure it survives the trip. This is a STUNNING WORK OF ART. Please note the last photo is of another one of his butterfly bowl offered for sale at a gallery in London . This is a more common bowl and they have sold 2 of them the other was sold for 5000 (which is 00.00 US ) pounds British. this photo is for a visual aid and not part of this auction. Please note the US dollar is not part of this auction it is for a quick size reference only. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
