    Description

Masked Nymph Harmonic Fuzz - Handwired Guitar Pedal - Percolator Clone Supreme. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This pedal is based around the Pedal PCB Percolation Station ( https://www.pedalpcb.com/product/percolationstation/ ), which itself is inspired by Harmonic Percolator style pedals. This is an awesome, giant sounding fuzz with a nice, diverse range that goes from creamy distortion to full-on fuzz apocalypse.
I love the sound of this pedal, but I find I prefer other fuzzes more. I am more of a dirty distortion fuzz guy, than the full-on crazy vintage 90s fuzz that this pedal does really, really well. Truthfully, I am selling this pedal not to make any money, but to clear up some space and remove some clutter.
This pedal was handwired and has been fully tested. It is one of my better looking builds and sounds great. The pedal was built with top-of the line parts: 1% tolerance metal resistors, silicone wiring, the whole shebang. The heart of this pedal is a gold lead 2N3565 for the silicon transistor and an 3AG22 NOS transistor for the Germanium side. In my opinion, the 3AG22s sound better than the generally used 2N404As, which have not been in production for quite a while. I auditioned many, many different transistors until I found the two that best percolated to give me the sound I wanted. I also used hard-to-find D9K Russian Germanium diodes.
I am not expecting or trying to sell this pedal for anything close to what an original or boutique version would go for. Heck, I doubt I will make back what I paid for the transistors. I would love for this pedal to go to someone who is curious if this sound matches their rig or setup but isn't sure they can afford a “real” one. Would I like to get a few bucks to cover the cost of materials? Yeah. Do I expect to even fully recover the money I put into building this? Nope. I will likely take whatever I get and buy more parts to build more pedals. I just don’t want to have a pedal sitting in a drawer that I do not use.
I am only selling because I need the space more than I need the gear. I fully expect to regret this sale after COVID ends.
