  • Condition: Excellent condition on this stunning white teapot shaped in a modern profile with ink drawing in the style of Urushibara Mokuchu (and may be an actual, we say "in the style of" as we cannot verify or decipher the Japanese signature on the teapot). This piece may be a rarity as we were not able to find another in our searches). It has a Japanese foil label which we estimate is from the 1960's, but there is not much left of the label to give any clues to the maker (see last photo). This lovely piece has no chips or cracks or damage and measures aprox. 8" tall (including handle up, otherwise is 6.25" tall) and is 8" in width and is 6" deep. Pristine clean interior.

    Stunning white teapot shaped in a modern profile with ink drawing in the style of Urushibara Mokuchu (and may be an actual, we say "in the style of" as we cannot verify or decipher the Japanese signature on the teapot).  A must-have for any fan of Mokuchu's work, this teapot may be a rarity as we were not able to find another in our searches.
