    Item Discription
The BOSS DB-5, said to be the most difficult pedal in the history of BOSS pedals to get, is now in stock!
    Works Perfectly

The DB-5 was released in 1978, and the production volume was extremely small, so it rarely appears on the market. According to "The Big Book of Pedals in the World" published by Shinko Music, the DB-5 is the model with the smallest production volume among BOSS brand products, with an estimated volume of less than 500 units.
500 units may be an exaggeration, but I've certainly seen very few of these.
The highlight of the DB-5 is the DIST+EQ mode, which gives it a tremendous upper octave sound!
Three mode selector switch: EQ / ATTACK+EQ / DIST+EQ.DIST/ATTACK control knob.
Five frequency bands from 100Hz to 3KHz, and an EQ slider that allows you to vary the entire frequency range by ±12dB.
It also has two INPUTs, one for guitar and one for bass.
The ATTACK control accentuates the attack of playing, but if it is turned up too high, the overtones will be emphasized and the tone will become metallic.
The best part is the DIST+EQ mode, which is just an awesome upper octave fuzz. From low to high position, the upper octave is mixed in regardless of the pickup position that is not easy to handle in general, but will definitely add a tremendous impact and accent to your sound once turned on.I will try to make a DEMO with this unit when I have time, but first there are some nice DEMO on YouTube so you can check them out.
With the EQ, you can create a screechy sound or an earth-shaking sound.Like Tycobrahe's Octavia, it uses a transformer in the circuit.
This is a very premium priced product ,so comes with a 30 day warranty.
It is in excellent condition with no signs of age.It will be very rare to see one in this condition on the market in the future, so if you are interested in it, please consider it!
This unit works with 9V battery and AC adapter.
