You will get 10+ isopods of all ages.
Isopods are a great food source for frogs and lizards. The above selected are small-medium sized isopods. These can be used in a bioactive terrarium, as a food source or used to collect and as pets. We use some of our isopods to feed our hedgehog.
In a bioactive terrarium,  simply add a layer of moss covered by a substrate. You can use an ABG mix which will yield good results or use any bagged peat and coco mix.  We use a mix of peat moss,  fir bark, coco and leaves. Either way, make sure you have a nice layer of substrate and cover with a thick layer of leaves. In a terrarium you will not need to feed your isopods, they will get food from decaying matter and feces.
Breeding and caring outside a terrarium. Get a shoebox plastic container.  You will need to drill or cut air holes. After cleaning add an inch of media and cover with leaves and cork bark. Most isopods and springtails will eat the leaves but you still need to make sure you supplement the diet. Once a week you should add a vegetable like potato, carrot,  lettuce,  sweet potato, banana or similar. You will also need to leave a calcium source, which we use cuttlebone. Add isopds and within 2 months you should start to see baby isopds. Be careful because the babies will be very small and cute. Make sure to water only one half of the box every time  you feed. There should always be a dry side for them to escape to.

Shipping is done on Tuesdays. We ship using USPS priority mail. We will always err on the side of caution and hold a shipment if temperatures are too hot or cold. We ship in temps of 45 to 90 degrees and will offer a live arrival guarantee only if package is opened within 1 hour of arrival. In the case of Dead On Arrivals or DOA we will require a picture of each isopod with a needle or pin through its thorax on one page within an hour of opening. In the event we need to replace an order,  shipping cost will need to be paid by customer before replacements are sent out.
Heat and or cold packs are included on the shipping charges if needed.
