    Antique Japanese Satsuma Bowl, Meji Period, Signed. A delicately crafted and tortuously painted export satsuma (Kyo-Satsuma) porcelain lobed bowl with a distinctive creamy, crackled glaze. It features a variation of kinrande where gold highlights are applied to the surface. A bowl with a representation of a blissful scene from nature with painted bamboo, flowers, birds and insects in classical Satsuma colors with golden highlights.
